ENERGY SOURCING ANALYST (Dutch & German Markets)

Position Summary:
We seek a sourcing analyst to join our sourcing team. Some duties of this role will include commodity research, excel based trend analysis to determine pricing and negotiating with suppliers. The analyst will become a specialist for the Dutch and German energy markets. Additional information about the role is listed below. This person will be based in Waregem, Belgium; Paris, France or London (Richmond), England.

Position responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain expertise in specified natural gas and electric power markets.
  • Relationship management with customers (internal/external) suppliers and Public Utility Commissions.

  • Investigate, identify, and provide impact analysis of pertinent market information.
  • Negotiate supply terms and prices with well developed supplier base.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 1-4 years sourcing experience, preferably with energy sourcing experience in either gas or electricity, or equivalent professional experience in sourcing a relatively volatile good or commodity
  • Ability to negotiate complex pricing and contracts
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and comprehend information from numerous sources, and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate parties
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in computer technology especially Microsoft Office Products
  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Work well on teams, within and outside of function
  • Fluency in Dutch and German required.

Position Summary:
Summit is seeking an experienced Client Sustainability Manager for the site in Waregem. This individual will report to the European Business Manager Sustainability Department.
The sustainability team is European-oriented with focus on industrial enterprises and buildings .
The Client Sustainabilty Manager should be able to initiate, support and monitor the companies in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and CO² emissions. He will perform and present energy audits and will ensure feasibility studies related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and CO² reduction.
