Oil rises, but ends below $84; natural gas rallies

il futures finished higher Monday, moving decidedly higher in the last hour of trading after seesawing between minor losses and gains, amid bargain-hunting after a 3.8% price drop in the previous session. "It looks like we're seeing some bargain-hunting coming into the market, which is natural" given that oil prices fell 8.4% last week and dropped around 17% in May, said Matt Smith, an analyst with Summit Energy.
