Oil futures end higher after U.S. supply update

Crude-oil futures ended higher Wednesday after a U.S. supply report showed a bigger-than-expected decline in crude supplies and as the U.S. Federal Reserve’s minutes showed a central bank unlikely to offer more stimulus. “Although the crude draw was much larger than expected due to higher refining, this also meant that products built more than expected," said Matt Smith, analyst with Summit Energy in Kentucky.
