Natural Gas Tumbles, Oil Slips on Weak Demand

Natural-gas futures plunged Thursday to their lowest level in 10 years after the U.S. reported a smaller-than-normal decline in inventories last week, as mild temperatures continue to damp demand for gas-fired heating. "There was a huge falloff in imports and it's lackluster, to say the least, on the gasoline front," said Matt Smith, an analyst at Summit Energy.
