US GAS: Futures Drop As Inventory Report Fails To Impress

Natural gas prices plummeted Thursday despite a below-average inventory report. The decreasing inventories has led to some volatile trading in recent days. Summit energy analyst Matt Smith said more demand because of warmer temperatures, coupled with a lack of additional production cuts to reduce supply, has sent traders conflicting signals.
