Summit Energy Executive to Speak on Carbon Strategy Webinar
Summit Energy, a global sustainability services and energy management firm, announced today that Bill Brewer, VP Sourcing and Sustainability, will speak on a complimentary webinar entitled “Carbon Strategy: Driving Results Throughout a Large Organization” on Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 at 2 p.m. ET.
The webinar will focus on three key topics:
- Trends in corporate carbon management
- Transforming data into reduction strategies
- AT&T’s approach to environmental stewardship
During the free webinar, Mr. Brewer will discuss the most critical factors to consider when developing carbon management and sustainability strategies.
He will be joined by John Schinter, AT&T’s director of energy, and Marc Gunther, Contributing Editor for GreenBiz.com. Mr. Schinter will discuss AT&T’s efforts to reduce its energy consumption, and Mr. Gunther will provide insights from the environmental sector and serve as the host for the event.
As market sustainability pressures continue to grow, businesses sharpen their focus on establishing and executing effective sustainability strategies. Companies with successful programs have one thing in common - a carbon management strategy. These action plans rely on capturing accurate data, incorporating business objectives, and building a framework for evaluating results.
